Google Pay

Accept Google Pay via Baraka Pay using the Google Pay API for Web. The encrypted payment data is processed by an eligible processor and settled on the card rail — you integrate through Baraka Pay, not directly with Google.

How it works

  1. Enable Google Pay for your Baraka Pay account.
  2. Create a PaymentIntent and request the google_pay method.
  3. Show the Google Pay button (hosted fields) or select it on hosted checkout; Google returns an encrypted token.
  4. Baraka Pay forwards it to the processor for authorization; a webhook confirms settlement.

Integration notes

Encrypted wallet payload is handled by the processor; your servers see tokens and Baraka Pay next actions only.
